HELP! My daily has hissing and soft brake pedal...

So before anything thanks for taking time to read this.. Anyways I’m on vacation in LA and my car’s brake booster is definitely bad. I had a shop change both booster and master about 8 months ago and it just came back. (Also just got rear ended in a parking lot smh, only lord knows where fml) What is the most cost effective solution for this? And is it possible to diy? All I’ve got is a ratchet set and basic maintenance knowledge so I’m not very confident.. ALSO smh I’ve only got $650 to my name. What do now fellow G members? And if your answer is suicide yes lol I’m thinkin about it😓 Thanks for any and all help🤙🏽

PS - Clutch is slipping terribly as well and also need a cost effective solution. Thinking about a southbend clutch and a hd csc but will most likely end up doing brokeboii ish. So again suggestions appreciated and no I can’t sell my car bc I live in it currently... Thx brothers hopefully y’all more blessed than me👍🏽

Hang in there man, I know it can seems like you're drowning in shlt but it will get better eventually.

Here's my advice, SELL THE VEHICLE. This is a luxury sports car, there is nothing cheap about owning one, there will NEVER be a point when it becomes cost effective to own one. You need a cheap bulletproof car so I introduce you to!

1997-2001 Toyota Camry LE 4cyl

The 5S-FE 4 cylinder engine will still be running when the world comes to an end, it was the absolute most bulletproof gasoline engine EVER CREATED BY MANKIND. It will never be surpassed, it's a gutless piece of ****, you CAN'T break it.

The XV20 Camry platform was built as bulletproof as the engine, you can't break it no matter how hard you try. If you get rear ended in this thing it really won't matter, it's a 1997-2001 Camry, no one will give it a second look anyways.

Preferrably get one in either of the two shades of GOLD PAINT that it was made with, Toyota knew they created the most lasting and bulletproof vehicle on the planet, that's why they were the only manufacturer in the history of manufacturing to ever create a model of vehicle with TWO shades of gold for paint options.

All jesting aside this is my recommendation, you can pick them up for DIRT CHEAP, a good clean one with 200k on the clock is usually about $1000 and you can find a dealership somewhere to trade in your high maintenance very expensive to own G35 Luxury Sports Car for a Very Economical Sh1tbox XV20 Camry for probably zero dollars changing hands, they can fix and sell the G35, you drive away with the most bulletproof sedan in the history of mankind.

Do you mean you hear hissing in the cabin when you press the pedal? That should be normal; I'd look at the vacuum lines first in the engine bay. There is a check valve in the hose that should only work one way, I would take the hose off and blow in both directions. If air flows both ways you need a new check valve.

You can DIY the booster it's a few bolts and 15 dollar o-ring. The master cylinder would be harder you'd need to bench bleed it or buy a vacuum/pressure bleeder to make your life easier. I think it's kind of weird to have both of those go bad, unless your MC is leaking behind the booster and eating the diaphragm up.
