Likely all custom to replace the mid-pipe and mufflers, should be able to bolt it straight to the Y-pipe. But I have to ask, why? I, personally, don't see any advantage to this kind of modification. The factory exhaust is top notch to begin with, resulting in very little to be gained my changing it. Now, if you are doing a body kit that doesn't look good with dual/rear exit exhaust (none come to mind, but i digress) that would make sense to me. I just see no real reason other than personal preference. All in all, it's your car, do whatever makes you happy. I would definitely be interested to see the result.

Thanks man, its really all just a personal preference aesthetic thing I was going for. I appreciate your response and will keep updating as I build her.

you can make certain single exit exhausts from 370z or 350z fit with certain length extensions. Other option would be to go with companies that already make them for the v36 sedan; SOHO, RZG, HBP

I got a HBP (Hall Built Performance) for my v36 sedan. I haven't installed it yet.

HBP single exit exhaust
