08 g35 different size tires

Hey guys so I have a question about my tires and want to know if anyone else has experienced this I had originally 255/35/20s all around I Added new back tires 265/40/20
keeping the fronts 255/35/20 and all my lights on my dashboard won’t go away.. (VDC .. ABS ... BRAKE low tire pressure ) do I need to change my back tires to the same as the front ? Or can I change my front tires the same as the backs to even it out ? What’s going on with my car?!?

Eh yooo, our first female member. First post some more pics Maria. We need to make sure you're for real, lol.

Generally you'll want all 4 tires to be the same size. This means the outside round rubber part that touches the ground should be the same size all around on all 4 tires. The time it takes for one wheel to spin in a complete revolution (circle) should be the same on all 4 tires, front and back

https://tiresize.com/comparison/

When you put in your sizes in that link, you'll notice your back tires are 4.6% bigger than your front. If you upgrade your front tires to match, they might rub and you won't know if they're too big, or if they'll work ... until they're on the car. I'm running bout 3% bigger without rubbing. People will try to convince you that you have to swap all 4, but that's just a sales bullsh:t. It has been my experience that fronts last a long time, and to save some money just swap the rears to match your fronts.

Some people say the ALTESSA system kicks in over 3% some say 5% some say more. See that spare tire in your trunk? It's smaller than the rest of your tires. Infiniti wouldn't make a smaller spare that throws off your entire car , so there is some play allowed , nomsayin.

Thank you so much for that information and I don’t know how to add more pictures but I’m very real lol .. so I just ordered some new back tires that at 265/35/20 to match the height of the front ones .. will that work ?

You're welcome Maria. To post a picture, click on the square beside the smiley face and press upload. You're not for real, lol.... We're waiting .... lol. Anyways, you're much better off if all 4 tires are the same size. Didn't you say your fronts are 255/35/20 ? I'd get mad at whoever sold you the wrong size to begin with, nomsayin.

909 has good info for sure.

I agree that you should go with the same 255/35R20 as the fronts if your wheels are all the same size. If they are staggered and you want to run stagger tires also, you should go with possibly a 295/30R20 but that seems pretty wide and aggresive. you could get away with a 275/35R20 (only slightly taller tire by 0.5 inches) and have a 20mm stagger in width.

but a 255/35R20 would be the easiest as it will allow you to rotate tires to prolong it.
