mix match front and rear tires?

I was a doing a little searching and people were saying good and bad things about it. Well i found a pair of used rear tires for $95 each (Pirelli P-zero 275/30/20) and I was wondering if it's ok to use them with Nitto NT555 245/35/20 for my front tires?

I don't see a problem with it. Be prepared for some understeer problems (at least more than usual) as I imagine the Pzeros are stickier than the Nittos.

As long as you don't put different tires on either side of your vehicle (i.e. different tires on the left than the right), I don't foresee any other problems unless there is some strange phenomenon with the VDC system I'm not aware of. Maybe someone will chime in on that regard.

The two tire types will not wear the same, so this is obviously only a temporary fix until you can get tires which are the same all around. If the two tire types have significantly different mass moments of inertia, you might have some strange brake wear. Seeing as how they are both radial tires though, I don't think you will have a problem.

The problem is that those are the WRONG SIZE. Get the right sizes, and you'll be find running different tires.
