I heard it’s a common issue with these cars but I’m having this issue where the car usually idles around 750-850 rpm but recently the car sounds weaker, sounds like it’s cammed at idle it would stay at its regular idle and then drop down to 500 and then bounce back to 800rpms. It also sputters when flooring it and usually occurs around 2k-3k rpm threshold. I changed out spark plugs thinking it would be a misfiring cylinder but that didn’t do it. Cleaned throttle bodies, nothing. Clean air filters, nothing. I scanned for codes and it shows bad 02 sensors I already have the o2 sensors but I’m still wondering if I changed them out and still haven’t solved the issue what else could it be? Has anyone solved the issue? Could it be bad coil packs? Bad ecm?

 

Rough idle and poor acceleration isn't a Nissan specific issue, it's an issue for ALL internal combustion chamber engines that are malfunctioning.

Exactly what diagnostic trouble codes were you throwing?

 

does it sound like a rattling/grinding noise when at operating temp and at a dead stop? if so, it probably a cat, just had mine replaced, wasn't cheap lmao
