TransGo shift kit for 5AT
love mine. did it myself in the garage on jack stands. there are good threads here and the instructions with the kit are good. the various threads on here hyping that mod are what convinced me to do it. search around and you'll find some good reviews and diys.

I did mine myself too. Took about 6 hours for me but it was definitely worth it and wish I did it sooner. I am supercharged now and it is still working great. I would break the tires loose shifting gears from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to third supercharged. Although I am currently collecting parts for a 6MT swap, I would still recommend it if you want/like to stay 5AT.
anything below about 3k is normal. it will get loose enough going from 1-2 in my NA 06x to make the slip lights come on if i hammer it. more typical higher rpm shifts are really quick and firm and no slow sluggish slushbox shifting. it's a great mod and not that expensive if you can install it yourself. there is an occasional weird shift like reversing out of the driveway quickly and into D if you get on it too quickly that it might bang a little. it's unpredictable but not bad enough to make me regret installing it. search and read the other reviews. there are lots that give good descriptions of what the kit is like. mine drives exactly how everyone describes it. nobody mentioned any occasional weird shifting though so maybe that's due to some mistake i made...
