Question Advice on bad wheel bearings

Ok so at about 40-50mph+ I start to get some vibrations, shaking, and roaring sound coming from the front wheels and it only intensifies as you increase speed. Also my steering wheel is shaking too. I'm thinking bad wheel bearings but I need advice on what else it could be?
I just had new tires put on all around not even 2 weeks ago. All 4 brakes are brand new (shaking happens without pressing brakes) I checked the wheels for play but their stiff with no movement although there is some noise when I turn the wheels while the car is lifted. No ABS codes or anything like it.
Any opinions on what it could be? thank you

If the roaring sound gets louder as you speed up ...it's likely a bearing

Timkin makes an inexpensive good quality bearing. Swapping it isn't really all that hard.

Makes a big difference.

New tires and brakes and nobody tried to sell you wheel bearings?
Yes, it’s most likely wheel bearings, but they should not make the steering wheel shake or give a vibration, usually just a humming/grinding sound and feel in the car and steering.
I actually did my left side today, took about an hour to do, you need a 22mm for the caliper bracket, a 14mm for the deflector on the bottom of the knuckle, a 10mm for the abs sensor, I think a 1 1/4” for the hub nut (don’t remember), 17mm for the hub bolts.

The steering wheel vibration is why I was skeptical at first but who knows. I do pretty much all the work myself on the car so I haven't had the chance to be sold on stuff like that from a shop.
I'll probably end up doing both front end bearings so I'll update from there. Thank you everyone!

I just installed SKF fronts on my X last year, mine groaned and could feel harshness at lower speeds, especially around corners, a pretty easy job actually, used anti-seize on everything when putting back together.

Are SKF wheel bearings good? They use to be top before, now they are made in China? What experience you have? Why they arw not put for G35 as OEM part? What way NTN is better?

To be honest, I don't recall even where I got them, or where they were made, however, I generally DON"T buy anything from China! I am sure they are at least OEM quality, IIRC, I saw many years ago they were an associate sponsor on the Roush Fords in Nascar, that's prolly what swayed me.

After 160,000 miles, I could hear a lot of noise while driving. Could not figure out where it was coming from.

Did the usual wheel bearing test by jacking up the wheel and rock the wheel at 6 and 12 o'clock. Seemed ok, not loose at all. Bought the wheel bearings from infiniti parts (during a 30% off sale). Replaced the front wheel bearings. It wasn't easy. Had to buy a slide hammer to get the bearing out. Bought an impact 1/2" socket set and a 36" breaker bar. Pretty much used all the tools.

After the repair, the car drove like a new car. Well worth getting the infiniti bearings.

Infiniti ultimately sources bearings, they don’t specifically make them, all should fit the bill. I believe timken is OEM idk remember correctly.

The problem is getting the correct part. I did a lot of online research - thought I had the part numbers for my car. When I picked up the parts at the dealer's parts department they had flagged it as the wrong part numbers (they had my vin). They went back and got a different set. They fit exactly. Replacing the wheel bearing is hard enough to do. I didn't want the extra BS with wrong parts.

Another problem is Timken is now made in china. It is difficult to figure out what is crap and what is good.

NTN is the Oem supplier of Infiniti wheelbearings, however if you buy NTN /SNR by the oem code of part they say it fits only Nissan 350z. Also NtN is made in China, same Skf, Timken. So appearantly Oem also. So what is the difference?

Good question.

I read several online reviews where buyers had issues with mechanical fit. My guess is when a part fails the oem specs (for whatever reason), the rejected part is just sold anyway under a different name. I've seen this in the computer industry. No matter what is wrong with a electronic part, it will get sold at a lower price point. Dozens of youtube videos about this.

have the same issue with my m35. Replaced steering rack and outer tie rods since they were needed anyway. Also got new tires few months ago. Issue is improved but still present. Was gonna do front wheel bearings next. Wondering if you had any updates and results

I had a bad driver side wheel bearing 10 months and 4k miles ago on my 07 G35 sedan and replaced it with this chinese crap from amazon ASIN: B08B8CPGK1. It fit just like OEM and so far, it it survived 140+mph runs. It's a hit or miss with these wheel bearings, even from autozone or ebay, but this one seems to be working fine. Sadly, i had to replace my rack also because Jorge drove into my passenger wheel in a parking lot and bent it. Got one from eBay for $200 (Rack and Pinion assembly), it came with the pressure valve installed and new inner rods which will make your steering hard for few days and then they will eventually wear themselves in.
