How Much Should I pay??? (labor)

Hey guys/gals what should I accept to pay in labor to have the front transmission mount, rear diff bushings repalced all 3. I know the rear bushing are a pain depending if they know what they are doing.

I already have 1 quote for $600. What do you guys think??

Imagine getting cucked by your mechanic, then registering on a car forum to cry about your poverty problems to a bunch of internet strangers.

Did you cry to him when he gave you a $600 quote too ?

Z1 says 4.5 hours typically on the rear diff bushings alone. $600 seems inline with the labor hours involved.

I'm having Whiteline rear diff bushing set installed next week and was quoted $580.

I think $600 is a fair price, takes me about 5 hours so $125 x 5 is close to that.

$700 all in. I hope it'll be worthwhile. What's to be expected from this mod?

5AT folks don't really FEEL the upgrade because the transmission isn't decel when you release the throttle. 6MT it feels a LOT more firm when you on/off the throttle though.

It's definitely an upgrade for both though, the stock rubber even when it's brand new allows for a LOT of rotation at the rear diff, put 60k miles on it and it's an extreme amount of movement. When it gets really bad it can cost you a differential...
