Hello all I have a 07 g35x plz can anyone point me in the right direction of what tuner is best for the HR motor I’ve been trying to search but no luck prob not putting in correct info in search box I know that the up rev seems to be the one but want others opinions b4 I decide to purchase also can anyone give me some direction on what is the benefits or disadvantages of the stand alone s or piggybacks btw I’m still researching and learning what all this is I’m pretty new to modding cars ty so far my mods are just coil overs,CAI,exhaust,intake and plenum porting gasket matching eventually I will be getting larger throttle bodies,injectors looking into cams along with head work this is a long term project with a fully built motor and twin turbos atleast that’s my vision ty for any help in advance

 

Uprev definitely, everyone else basically abandoned the platform because Uprev did everything perfect.

Standalone is racecar stuff, if you want your dash to work, AC, all those other passenger car things then you're probably not interested in a standalone ECU.

Have a conversation with our local etuner @seymore4 he can answer all your questions as well as hook you up with the equipment needed AND offers an etuning service for a good price.

Yep, Cleric is on point as usual. UpRev is THE go-to tuner for the HR. Whenever you can increase the RPM redline over stock safely, you know it’s a good tune. I raised my torque dramatically, great for daily driving

Is there a rev limiter with this tune, specifically driving in manual mode? I hit 8k today and felt it would've spooled right past that if I didn't up shift. Auto does shift at 7700 as advertised.

 

we can set the rev limiter to whatever we want, uprev is a complete tuning solution
