I bought a baffled catch can off amazon for ~$45. As far as i’ve read, as long as there’s no vacuum leaks and you use hose other than the supplied hose, it works the same as the catch cans going for $100+. My only issue is finding a spot to mount it. I have a v36 2007 G35x With the VQ35HR, stock intakes also. I spent about 20 mins trying to test fit the can anywhere i could find space, and didn’t really come up with anything besides possibly in the Brake fluid compartment, which i would prefer not to run vacuum lines in and out of. Any thoughts?
Z1 has you mount their catch can (for the HR) at the back of the engine near the firewall, slightly offset to the driver's side. However theirs comes with a bracket specifically made to mount it there. The install guide with pictures is on their site.

Great. Going to have to take a look at this. Probably will have to fabricate some sort of bracket. Originally Posted by MikeG35Coupe
