Unable to disattach Brake Booster Hose for Seafoam

Hi guys,

the rubber of my brake booster hose is "sealed" together, my guess is the heat over time caused it. I am able to move the clip thing with a plier, but I can't get the hose off.
What are ways to remove it, which tools?
Are there alternatives to the brake booster hose in order for the Seafoam to work?
(Besides putting the Seafoam into the fuel tank, and crankcase)

Thanks!

Grab the hose with the pliers and twist it to break the seal. Don't grab too hard though as to damage the rubber, you need just enough pressure to get it to spin a little bit so you can pull it off.

I think they might even sell special hose tools, but a pair of pliers and a twist has always worked for me.

Thanks for the answer.

It doesn't seem to work, the seal is really tight, I played around with it and wiggled, and trying to twist it wherever I can, but it does not move at all. What should I do?

Thanks,

I've tried it, and tried again, and thought I made progress because I was able to go underneath the hose and lift it up, but I realized that there is an outer and "inner" hose of rubber. The inner one sits pretty tight.

Do I have to go underneath the inner hose, or is outer fine?

Post two pictures please, one of the general area you're working in, and one of a close up of the hose you're trying to remove. You lost me at inner and outer hose.

Attached are four photos describing what I see.

I have a feeling that the "inner" hose is part of the hose, and that I separated it by accident. Does the whole thing have to come off?

Fixed img links for you.

Yeah, that should just be one piece. Squeeze harder with the pliers to get that to twist loose.

It just needs a little:

Twisting it with pliers while pulling broke mine free.

let me try and see if I can do that. Where can I buy that grease? Do you recommend that brand in particular or is any brand fine?

Say it out loud three times, Elbow Grease.

Basically try harder with the pliers and twisting, it'll come loose.

WD-40/PB Blaster & some elbow grease and your good. Just only twist in the vertical direction while pushing in a horizontal direction. Elbow grease is a term used as a joke for not applying enough work/torque on something to break it loose. Use some "elbow grease" (apply more work) and you should break it loose.
