Hi guys,

I am looking to repair a thread on one of the spark plugs as it got damaged. Do you guys know of any repair kits I can use to fix this problem?

Thread repair kits usually require drilling and tapping a special thread so it can accept a threaded insert of the original spark plug thread size. Drilling and cutting threads without having metal chips fall into the cylinder could be a challenge. Some kits have a tapered tap so the drilling step may be eliminated. Using a glob of grease will allow the metal chips to adhere to the grease and not fall into the cylinder.
