I made a video on how to install a dashcam in my 08 G35s sedan. I used the cigarette lighter port in the armrest and ran the cables on the passenger side, up the A-pillar, and around the side curtain airbag. I hope it's helpful if you guys are trying to install a dashcam. In my opinion, the installation is clean and doesn't need to be hardwired. If you want parking mode (I don't), then you'll need to hardwire it.
