I was expecting more of a change but I still like the new design. It has a lot of smooth curves and not all the funky jagged lines that BMW and everyone else is doing. It still could use some more sportiness but there may be some extra options to improve the looks. I'm looking forward to learning more about the performance and pricing.

Hmm, overall, I think it looks like a nice job. The interior looks a lot better -- the weakest point of the G! -- and that should please a lot of people.
The outside: the notchback trunk is different, but distinctive. If they made it flush it would be kinda weird. I like the dual exhaust, finally!
The front looks nice! I like the projectors, sure, and they definitely cast the headlights in the mold of the BMW 5-series. I call 'em Angry Eyes (see Toy Story 2). The front end is another nice upgrade from the '05-06, a bit more aggresive air openings. I like it -- I have the 2004 w/Aero kit so it has the same locations and rough sizes for the air intakes.
Time to stop by and peek at them at the dealers!
