I really love the 2007! I am glad I waited and didn't buy an 06. The entire exterior just looks more polished and sculpted. Previously, I thought the new Bimmer3 was the best looker in it's class, but I'd have to say that the new G35 tops the list now. Every angle of the car looks better than the old G to my eyes. Of course, everyone has their own tastes, but I think Nissan really hit a home run with this one. I particularly like the M-looking front end. The improved engine and interior make the purchase a no brainer. I just hope they don't start selling above MSRP when they come out! I want one!

i hope white with black interior is finally made available. i also hope that with this car they dont lose sight of the value the G35 had. $42k tops....however somthing tells me it will be higher....like $45. i am afraid they will price this near BMW

I'm not sure what pricing will be fully loaded but I think one of the marketers or Ghosn himself was quoted saying MSRP would be very much the same.

The more I see pics and more I hear details, the more I like the new G. There are some not-so-hot styling elements but I could say the same thing about my 05. I don't know what those that are disappointed were expecting. It seems a lot like the current G35 but improved in almost every way. The only thing that would turn me off at this point is price. If they jump up into BMW territory like Lexus, then they can keep their 10" door speakers.

I can't get over how ugly the rear looks to me.

Everything else I like. Very M45 looking...

no telescoping steering wheel?????

Wonder if that CF slot will take a Type II? If so, there is some huge capacity CF available!!!

Also, when the new coupe comes out, there will be no more comparison on whether the G35 is more luxo than their 350z. Those 350z'er crack me up...

The M45 has it, so I'm sure the new G35 will have it. There is a button on the steering wheel for it.

But the audio system is the most interesting bit of kit. It's not a discrete 5.1 setup, but it features what Infiniti calls a home theater-spec 24-bit Burr Brown amplifier chip and a 9.5G hard drive so you can store music in the car, rather than having to always hook up your iPod. Plus, the G35 sedan's front doors were designed specifically to accommodate the system's 10-inch Bose woofers.

Ya, we will see how the audio shapes up. The mention of burr-brown DACs is a positive sign, but I've yet to meet a Bose system I liked. Apparently this one is very good though, so we'll see.

I don't know. I would have to put this head-to-head with the Passat Dynaudio sound system before I would go so far as to say that it is "audiophile". Cause I certainly think of Dynaudio before I would ever think of Bose when I am talking about audiophile-quality.

I'm not really an audiophile so a six disc in-dash cd system would do me just fine. The flash drive is also a nice touch. Does anyone else think it's kind of odd that Infiniti is hyping the audio system so much? Is it just me?

They are talking an awful lot about it. It may be because Lexus has been talking so much about the Mark Levinson sound systems that they're using in their new rides. I'd be surprised if any Bose system can hang with ML, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Remember though, audio is very subjective, so user opinion is going to very considerably.
