Everything on this site is "hearsay", I am giving you my "hearsay". Your numbers on the G35, TL and Camry 0-60 are just numbers.
The new G35 looks great BUT the "verdict" is not in yet on it's preformance.
Look for an additional 200 lbs on the new G and if you do the math, you should be able to figure out how many MORE net horsepower would be required to maintain the existing performance.
And by the way, I don't smoke tobacco products.
Have a great day and let's just wait for the performance reviews to start coming in. I am sure that one of the Car Mags will do a Comparison in the next few months.

Yeah - well nothing can compete with the Sparkomatic from my Plymouth!

It's Elliot Scheiner (ELS) who does the TL surround/DVD-A.

You're missing the point. The Camry V6 is not faster than a G35 or a TL in a straight line. That's the point I was making.

Are you trying to say that the 2007 G35 will be slower than the current gen? That's a bold statement. Do you really think Infiniti would release a full model change that is slower than the current model?

But the only way I would ever buy infiniti again is if they fix the design issues surrounding the rattles and creaks. There are just too many of them in all of these nissan products when compared with audi, bmw, and Lexus/toyota. For those who say they have no rattles...great. But we all know our cars have more rattles than the aforementioned.

So upgrade the interior materials, upgrade the motor, blah blah. But I want to be sure Infiniti has upgraded the way they've engineered these components to fit together. I'm thinking with a similar MSRP, etc... that may not have happened.

Love my '05 though. Just got a new job that gave me a 100% raise. So hopefully a GTR?
The last gen of the A4 is one of the best looking cars on the road, but electrical gremlins are worse than a rattle. As far as BMW, price wise I'll take the G35. When I move out of my 05 I'll check out the Lexus, but Infiniti will likely have a repeat buyer.

JMO... but from the info released...
- 16% more spot welds in critical areas.
- additional chassis bracing & stiffening.

Should go a long way to help reduce creaks & rattles.

Of course the proof is in the puddin'... time will tell

isnt that what is under the indicator handle? does that mean it will go up and down automatically when you enter and exit like the M?
Already does this on the '05-'06 G35 with the Premium, the memory controls both seat and wheel locations, very nice feature! Yes, that is what that switch is for, tilt/telescoping wheel.
