They guys over at the IS boards are posting slips with lower to mid 13's. Mid 13's are easily consistent, so Infiniti has a lot of work to do. I wonder if the tranny ratios are optimal for both acceleration on lower gears and economy on the higher gears. Something has to give.

it's drag times, sorry.
Maybe Infiniti isn't considering the IS350 a "in class" competitior
since it is quite a bit smaller in size. But then again, so is the
330i (even the new 330i).

As XcarGo said I would never consider the IS due to its size and also lack of a manual tranny. The new 330i/335i is a different story, it's grown enough for me to consider.
When I got my G I really loved the 540i but too much $$$, so my G became my 'Poor Man's' 540i, on par performance and sizing, little less lux, but damn great car.
