I'm a new guy but my first impression about the regional forums is that they are way too big. i see it being helpful to have a large number of regions dedicated to more specific areas. for example, splitting the "Northeast Region" into Washington DC Area (VA, DC, MD, and WV) and Northeast (PA, DE, NJ, NY) and New England (CT, MA, NH, VT, RI and ME). just a suggestion.
