Revup is the appropriate term. MREV is the aftermarket part designed by Tony at Motordyne Engineering. The difference in the Revup engine and the other engine options in the coupe is that it has a higher redline. It produces it's peak power by revving up vs the other engines (in the 03- 04 G's and current model AT's) produces it's peak power at a slightly lower RPM. The non-revup produces more torque however so it essentially has more power at the lower RPM's than the revup. The revup has more power at the higher RPM's than the non-Revup.
You will notice the biggest difference at higher speeds. The revup should pull slightly against a non-revup. Off the line the non-revup has a slight advantage but can be countered by a good vs average driver.
