Buyer/Seller feedback section

I've read 4-5 people complaining about either a buyer or seller. I think it might be time to put in a section for this. That way, people can review feedback on someone if it's been mentioned before.

A viewable subsection of Marketplace but not actually in Marketplace.

Yes? No? Go fly a kite? Take a long walk over a short plank?

I mean it's GOT to get more activity than the GAS SURVEY section right?

Click the icon below your post count which is in the top right.. If you are going to do business with a person everyone knows to do that.. It will tell you all about that person. I can see your iTrade rating which is all I need to know about you to determine if I do business with you or not..

Here is another example. But since it's only in the coupe forum not all probably see it.

THIS is a iTrader rating:
http://forums.maxima.org/itrader.php?

And on top of that system, we also have a buyer/seller feedback section

Most of what I see here is 1-2-3. I saw one or two up to about 15. No one really uses this great feature yet. And ratings that are under 5 are too low to really guage well.

I think having just the trader rating is probably ok?

How many bad transactions is it going to take to at least get a comment?

Well you have two choices

1) Click the iTrader icon and leave a feedback.

2) If your experience is particularly bad, most post in OT to complain. What OT has to do with bad transactions is beyond me but that's where they end up. And getting buried for no one else to see in a few days also. Hence the "buyer feedback" section request.

Not that anyone will look at this post but more examples of bad buyer experiences that won't get detailed in the iTrader rating system:
https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...93#post2201993
https://g35driver.com/forums/lounge-off-topic/168078-who-has-been-ripped-off-crespo.html
And since bad buyers are now registering as new members, having a thread where the buyer and any known alias names in thread would help. Tracked by IP of course.

iTrader is the way to go IMHO.

Another good sign of a scammer is post count. If they have a substantial number of posts you'll be fine. If not, view all of their posts and you can figure out if they are actually contributing to the site and community. Otherwise they're trying to scam.

Jeff, I understand your frustration but having the attitude that no one will look at the post or care that you are making a suggestion isn't going to make people want to listen to you.
