on maxima.org I was banned (for what I thought was an illegitimate reason, however I will leave that discussion out of this). it wasn't by jeff92se, but by another chap. the ban was lifted shortly after another member PMed him and explained what happened. anyhow, the loss of the subscribed threads was upsetting as it was my way of bookmarking much needed tech info, so i definitely feel jeff92se's pain.

That's good it got straightened out but that would be disappointing to lose all your info like that.
I guess it's a reminder that a person should save real important info in a separate folder somewhere since this has happened on a couple of different sites.

Unless the stuff you deal with on here is work related, who cares???... it's just an enthusiast forum for gawd sake. If you lost a bunch of critical data that your paycheck depended on I'd understand... this however I just don’t get. Just seems like a lot of boo hooing to me

You cared enough to give your 2 cents.

Here's your 1 cent change.

I'm repeating why I cared for the threads that were lost. You sound like someone that probably doesn't even use the feature.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Christian. Just reply here. My pm is almost at it's limit. I have to constantly delete to keep under the limit.

I had to export all of mine as CSV and import them to Outlook because my PM box was almost full, and my limit is 800 messages.

Jeff, that is one of the things I like about Premier membership. You are allowed up to 500 in your mailbox.

I don't delete all. I save alot of my old PMs for possible future use. So I'm always at 140-ish.
