The Marketplace

I know, I know some parts are interchangeable, but not all.

I like how the rims/tires section is broken down into sizes (17,18,19....)but I was just wondering if it would be possible to help seperate the sedan from the coupe parts and everything in the market place. It would help us sedan guys so much. I spend sooooo much time looking for parts, like grills, wheels, that are not interchangeable with the coupe it gets aggravating.

Is it possible to seperate the two? or at least make it a requirement to state in the "TITLE" whether it is for a coupe or a sedan?

Just a suggestion. Keep up the great work guys!

In a perfect world yes, that's nice to have it all broken down.

Problem is that some ppl just like to post up wherever they feel like it.

This is just going to create more work for the staff to police with sedan wheels in the coupe section and visa versa. Trust me, this will happen.

I think it's laziness that the ppl that post don't know to post for "Sedan" or "Coupe". After all, everyone knows that both owners are on this board.

I think this would be the best solution for everyone.

So, who are you trying to make it easy for? The consumer or the employee? Don't get me wrong, I appreciate you at least responding to this, but it sounds like a cop out. If we have sections for sedan vs coupe in the general discussion forum, then why can't we have it here? It would help out in sooooo many ways for us sedan owners. That is of course , unless you just could really care a less about us.

And I'm sorry, but I also don't buy "ppl are going to post up wherever they like". It will be more obvious and more cut and dry and more black and white when some one goes to post in the classifieds.

Why not just create the sections and give it a trial run of say 1 week. What would be the harm in that?

Come on O NO, help us out. I know you want to!

There are none here.

Suprised you said it being you have been here long enough to know ppl do post wherever they feel like for whatever the reason.

I broke the wheel section down into sizes awhile ago which seems to be working fine for the most part but even with that I've had to move threads around and I don't know what other staff members have done either. Let it be bro.

Why don't you tell your fellow posters to throw it up as a sedan or coupe when they are selling their wheels, please don't put the onus on us.

Alot is going on right now, maybe at a later date who knows but it def is not a cop out as you put it.

.

1+ for specifying sedan or coupe on the title when necessary.

No more forum break-downs are necessary in the Marketplace. As if we don't have enough sub-forums already in Driver

Thanks O No for at least responding to it and considering it. I have no problem letting it go. Its not like I don't spend enough time on here posting stupid **** anyways.

Just one question. How would you suggest that I tell our fellow posters to throw it up as a sedan or coupe? Where should I post that thread?

Thanks again.

Marketplace Information....?

Like the staff members stated it's up to the person posting the items for sale
as to if it's a coupe or sedan and what year. If I'm interested in selling an
item I'd want to post all the information available....coupe..sedan..year..offsets..color etc. That way you have fewer
questions to answer....maybe!

That's fine, but we need to put it in the title. Without putting it in the title it does us no good as we will still have to open every damn thread to find something for our own vehicle. Get it?
