its been a long time since I signed up here, but I dont remember giving an address... I've never given an address to any other site I'm on... they have an IP address, which I suppose if someone tried hard enough could lead to a physical address - unless you bounce around (like I do)...

 

The only address used for signing up here is an email address.

 

he should already have this - he sent the money orders there. even if it wasn't his real address, he seems pretty well known in NYC so I'm sure someone on that board knows where he stays. And it wouldn't be too hard to set up a fake deal with him for a local pick up anyways.

Usually IP leases last a bit longer (I know Comcast they expire a bit quicker). At my work I can pull up customer accounts via IP addresses and I am sure at our Operation department they have a compilation of every IP address association with a MAC address (this does not change). If the RCMP/local police get a warrant; they will be able to find the address no problem. Should work same in the states (even moreso since ISPs are more compliant).
