For Sale threads (Vendor and Canadian)

The private sale threads have the suffix (FS) which is great to see when using new post results.

But Vendor and Canadian for sale threads do not. (at least the Vendor ones don't and I assume the Canadian ones don't).

I suggest all Vendor section for sale threads should have the suffix (VDR) and I don't know about the Canadian for sale. Maybe (CA-FS)? (CFS)?

Yeah, but isn't that kind of redundant since the vendors only post sale ads in the vendor section and all of the sale ads are in the for sale section? I mean if I go to the vendor section of the classifieds I know the thread was started by a vendor and the of course all the threads in the market place are for sale ads unless they're in the WTB section right?

No. Because if you use the new posts option, all threads get posted together in the order of when they were posted. Not where.

Ok that makes sense. I never use the new posts option in any of the forums I belong to so I didn't realize that.

ewww can we remove the USA from every sub section? if its under the USA section i think it is redundant and just displeasing to the eye to see it listed on every subforum...

You have to think in reverse of your own situation.
Us Canucks surf the 'new posts' as well.

In for a penny, in for a pound.

i dont see why just having the separated and usa and canadian section isnt enough. it is clearly visible from the marketplace main forum, so the addition of USA on every subforum just makes it looked cluttered and unprofessional imo. furthermore, this site is primarily made up of US members and therefore the need to mark every sub forum as USA shouldnt be necessary... I like the addition of the canadian forum to give candians a better option but US forums shouldnt suffer a cluttered look as a result

As was explained to me earlier in this thread when I asked a similar question if you're looking at the new posts page it's not as easy to tell what section the thread is in. That was the reason for the change.

This is the way it comes up now if you use the 'new posts' button at the top.
FWIW, a great many of the regular members use this ^ a lot.

I do agree that the Classifieds aren't as asthetically pleasing,
but it does improve the ease of use factor.
