Well, I got this error this morning:
vBulletin Message
Your submission could not be processed because you have logged in since the previous page was loaded.

Please push the back button and reload the previous window.
I was on hte main forum page, logged in, main forum page reloaded, clicked through and went to a thread (can't remember if I went into the section first or not) then clicked back and got that error. I was logged in before I went to the thread (i had to be, it's not in a publicly viewable section) and then clicked back.

So what that error says isn't really accurate.

I wasn't getting any type of error msg... the page just sat there when I clicked the back button (until I clicked 2 or 3 times)...

Seems to be fixed now though - it hasn't been much of an issue yesterday and so far today....

I have the back button issue today for the first time. It's been like that since early this morning for me.
I must at least triple click the back button to go back. A single click doesn't work, nor does a double click.

All other sites are okay.

it's happening even when you're logged in?

It always happens when I'm not logged in - I've just learned to live with it... but when I'm logged in it never happens (I hope I didn't just jinx myself )

Yes when I'm logged in.
It was okay all day then started again tonight.

Just tried again and it's okay. Go figure.

What a pain in the butt this is. Everytime I visit this site (often lately) I am plagued with this issue.

You just have to get used to it and it's other performance issues.
That's the way this site is, very inconsistent.

Lots of good people here and lots of great info, that's why I put up with all the ****e. Learn to live with it.

I've noticed in the past couple weeks- and I'm pretty sure it's the ads that are being posted. Especially the tires direct one- It's almost like each highlighted arrow is its own page.

Now, I'm a pretty patient guy- but if I'm paying to be on the site then there is absolutely no way I'm going to suffer an inconvenience from an ad.

Then again, maybe that's not what it is... so forgive!

Anyway- CLEARLY this is an issue and hopefully it'll get sorted out. Hint hint.

I'm having this issue also but only when clicking the back button on my mouse. The back button on the browser is fine. It only happens on this site. It doesn't seem limited to a specific OS and browser so it has to be the site.

Win7 x64 and Firefox 3.6

now the back button doesn't work at all most of the time (when not logged in)...

after months of doing the double and sometimes triple click to go back a page - now the damn thing makes me click section links just to back out of thread
