I would love to see and I pretty sure that other members at G35Driver would love too, a chat on the main page of this forum just like myspec-v.com has.

I remember when myspev.com used to exist that had a chat that was very very helpful to all members and it help also to keep useless threads out.

just my 2 cents... hope you all administrator take this in consideration.

I feel no need for chat

 

I have seen it on a couple of boards.
It gets a lot of interest initially but after the novelty wears off it dies.

There are so many dedicated chat alternatives out there, it's hard to see a real need for one.

 

IDK... it could work... might prevent some of the annoying "this question's been asked 1,000,000 times" type of threads from being started


then again, it could turn into a moderation nightmare

Chat is not very valuable. Conversations are not logged, so they are not searchable. Can easily lead to he said/she said situations. It's also impossible to moderate, to ensure scammers don't invade etc.
As such, it's unlikely we'll add a search feature to the site itself.
