Job well done, Comments...
I havent posted here much in the past, although I've browsed and been a member of G35 forums (f/a,6mt, this etc) since they were pretty much started a couple years back. One of the things that always bothered me was that there were no good forums being used. That made it difficult to find the most relevant information and browse threads (which is what forums are for!). The change to vbulletin is a welcome one and I am very happy to see this site change. I am even more shocked to see old posts, threads, PMs intact (!!) I think that if things continue to go this well, this site will be the premiere forum for a majority G35 owners online.
Having said that I'm not sure I agree with the new proposals on charging users for some features. Many have been here for a long time and have helped get this site to the point where it is what it has become- one of the best G35 forums out there.. and as I already said, it is now in a position to be THE best. What I am suggesting is that existing users be grandfathered in to having better privilages while new users pay to get those privilages. Just a thought. Either way though, sites cost money and if that's what it takes to make this happen, that is understood and I can't be mad at that.
Before I close, a couple more random thoughts, I had
-i think the initial smilies are ok. please dont add silly ones.
-i look forward to seeing the layout and format of the posts develop so things become more readable... as it is, everything is ok, but it doesnt seem as easily readible as some other vbulletin forums are... ill comment more on that later
Well, thats everything i wanted to say for now. I am looking forward to seeing the g35driver community grow. And Once again, job well done.
