How do multiple accounts work?

For example.

Lets say I start a Vendor account under a separate screen name and keep JBF as a personal account. Is that okay?

yeah, some of the more active vendors still keep their personal accounts. it's actually a courtesy to the other vendors and members, so that when they post on other threads they aren't advertising their company on your thread in bold letters, vibrant colors and w/an attention grabbing logo for an avatar.

You're allowed starting ONE vendor account if you wish for more you'll need to buy a higher package of sponsorship.

You're allowed to have your personal user name. You can wish for that to be re-named and changed into your vendor name. However once it is a vendor they generally don't let you return it back into 'normal' after you resign as a vendor this is because you'll have the rep and the posts in vendor sections still up for others to see.

CALL, http://www.internetbrands.com/our-brands/automotive/

and they'll get back to you right away (literally right away).

It's not a courtesy.. we're not allowed to post in other vendors threads or comment negatively about them

ethically, its not okay for anyone to **** in anyone's thread...

history and reputation has shown (not only on this forum) that its more debilitating to the offender than they intend.

If a quality vendor wants good report and positive attributes - they will get it from satisfied customers... first hand referrals particularly from known members are good sources.

I always give kudos to vendors, shops and merchants that I feel are worth fellow members working with.

On the contrary - I dont often say negative things (which doesnt really help)... but if one looks closely at who I have done business with - if there isnt a recent (meaning within months or years) positive comment - it usually means they arent worth dealing with.

When we became a vendor i talked with IB about having my personal name The04coupe and they said to make another name for the vendor account so having two names is fine as long as one is your personal account .You dont wanna be posting up Vendor sale threads under your personal name anyway .

No. Why would you want to talk trash in a competitor's thread??? Doesn't seem to be very good business sense to me and only makes your own business look bad.
