Advertisments for Premium members
I know this has been brought up before but the ads are starting to get annoying.
The now sponsored link or whatever in the subsection if you mouse over them show you a video or some **** and are incredibly hard to close at times.
Paid members should not be having to deal with continual ads from ford and GM, unpaid members sure but paid members don't really get anything out of $30.00 they pay yearly other than a normal sized inbox and an avatar.
I think this site makes enough money off the ads alone, so why not just offered full memberships free of charge and then pollute the site with tonnes of ads.... oh nevermind.

I agree with this entirely. I pay my dues because I want to thank the site for making the opportunity to network with guys like 4DGS... but the fact that I get innundated by ads is taking its toll on my enjoyment for the site.
It gets old REAL fast. If it continues, I'll not be renewing. I don't need to show off my car in an avatar... that's what facebook is for.
Ironically- there's even an ad link in the post above mine. GMAFB.

That made no sense at all. What does me using high end wheels have to do with the fact that I hand money to this website and I'm still force fed the shitty pop up ads about ford focuses and kia sorentos.

Blain is right.
Doesn't mean it's ever going to change though.
On the bright side, you can disable the in-text ads. Between that and ad-block+ almost nothing gets through... but you're right, if you're paying for the site, you shouldn't have to deal with all the advertising (or at least have much less and/or only from vendors on the forum)

I completely agree that the ads are nothing more than annoying. I hate them as much as anyone else here. Unfortunately it's not going to change so ad block really needs to be your friend. ![Icon43](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/icon43.gif)
I will however bring it up with IB to see if it's possible to have advertising eliminated for Premier members.
