Gps maps
I just spent $99 to Navyeq and $119 to our dealer to update the GPS maps from the 2007 version and I feel like I got screwed. Not from the dealer, but from the people who are supposed to provide the map info. In less than two weeks we have found two missing addresses, one of which is seven years old, and one that is two years old. Both public places that would have considerable traffic.
What really makes me mad is I have a Garmin in my truck that I bought for $90 that has both addresses. This unit also comes with a free lifetime map update to keep everything current.
Navteq is screwing us and Infiniti is allowing it to happen. I don't know why but am not happy about it. I plan to challenge their charges on my credit card bill but that is only half the cost of the update and I can not blame the dealer.
Infiniti needs to re access who they contract with.
