Canadian Classifieds

I was looking through the classifieds there, literally everything been sold, maybe to improve g35driver.com the ability to delete a thread should be implemented? Not just for classifieds, in general ive seen some pretty useless ones.

I find all FS threads useful for helping me figure out a fair asking price / offer. Maybe instead it should be enforced that threads must be locked when they are sold, or put SOLD in the title. That way it would be obvious when you are looking for stuff

From Classified Rules (all):

When Item is SOLD or Sale is FINISHED
1. Please edit the original post and add a comment to mark it as "SOLD", "CLOSED" etc.
Please do not delete the content of the OP, as this will be of value to future classified posts.
Also, do NOT add a new post for same. (needless bump)
2. Please Close your thread. You have the ability to close (Lock) your Original Post in the Classifieds ONLY.

Most people just don't follow this and I don't have time to clean up after them. I'll see what I can do about a reminder to do so. I agree that checking interesting threads only to find they're sold is frustrating and a waste of time.

Thats why I said enforced, though I do realize you cant constantly comb through threads.

I will say, however, it took a while before I realized I was able to close my own marketplace threads.
It still would be nice to be able to edit titles
