Its got to do with moderating the moderators. Their actions don't go unnoticed. And there should be nothing against politely asking what the purpose of the METHOD of punishment is all about, not questioning the reasoning. But that also comes into play when the method used is more along the lines of bullying, rather than just banning and getting rid of the situation all together.
I can tell you, if there was some wrong-doing, nothing will happen. You don't get fired from being staff. They're all friends. And friends won't tell friends they don't need to moderate anymore. It's just that I bet 99% of people here didn't know something like MU existed. Now they do and most my questions have been answered.

If you are going to close the Political section "because this is first and foremost a car forum", then to be fair, you should close and delete the entire "Off Topic" section. Otherwise you are showing your bias toward some members (you know who we are).

He's being facetious and baiting. Posts have been reported to mods, but since they don't want this thread around anyway (raising awareness) it'll just get closed or deleted due to one individuals trolling.

There is very little structure. The mods pick and choose what they want to deleted and who they want to ban while others get different treatment. I too, have been on both sides of that fence.

Why not just man up... If they are that big an issue.
