I was surprised to see my photo of my car on the top of the mobile home page. I'm cool with it, but could I get some sort of credit? Or a watermark or something? I don't want to see this forum turn into a credit-less Instagram page xD

Edit: If someone went to the effort to blur my license plate, then they can definitely put my name somewhere small or at least tell me about it.

 

Throw the man a bone. That's the first thing I noticed when I saw the new layout today. I watched your thread closely and even commented on a couple things. I immediately knew where I've seen that G before. After all, it's people like you that give the forum life and keep it active. Seems like all I see lately are sales, questions, and politics

 

I think editing the license plate to be your user name would be tasteful.

You guys should try out the mobile site in the Garage Talk app. Very user friendly with seemingly no BS. It's the only mobile site I use for Driver.

 

+1. I gave up the mobile website long ago and never looked back. The app is a much cleaner and easier to use experience. It still lacks numerous features of the full website like the mobile site does, but it just works better.

Have you tried the default mobile template? Log in via your mobile device, it's the default view of the site. Just a thought...

Oh yes, I have looked in from time to time. I continue to prefer the Garage Talk app.

 

Honestly i will probably not use the mobile site anymore because this new version broke the functionality of returning you to the last post you read on a thread. Now it always sends me to the front of the thread, then I have to click the last page, then I have to scroll to the bottom. It's super clunky and the old version from last week or so was light years better from the users perspective.

 

That's not even account for all the malicious redirects on the mobile advertisements to us.clickgoer.com and us.fraternizer.com with the bogus "your device has 4 viruses" scam...

 

 

So much worse malicious ad redirects now than a month ago.

 

Thank you, all I can do is report them as most are bad ads being served up by ad partners who do not follow the rules. IB does remove them when they are identified. Make sure you are logged in when using any app on the site. Have a great Holiday!
