it's my turn to complain
few things i like to see:
-limit sig to a hundred or two of characters.(some sig are too long)
-disable the quote button (prevent people from recall the whole long quote just for a short reply)
-keep close eyes on off topic thread more (example= wheel thread in coupe forum or audio thread in sedan forum or item for sale all over.this happen more and more.
that's it for now
thanks.

No worries Steve.....
Your suggestions are good ones, bro, and a good reminder to us all:
-The sig thing has been left up to common sense so far, but if it gets out of hand, sigs will have to be limited to a reasonable size.
Everyone 'listening': please cull your sigs to something less than half a page.....
-- It makes post reading so much easier, and of course doesn't waste precious space.- We're almost constantly moving threads to the correct and most effective forum. We ask for everyone's understanding and diligence on this for a more pleasant reading experience.
Some do get missed, tho, Steve, and unfortunately, until they get moved, they clutter the forums with misplaced info.
You guys are quite prolific with your posts and threads, and as you can imagine with over 17k members now, it's hard for us to keep up sometimes . (especially for those of us who are busy with new cars....
-- {no names pleae} lol,
)Thanks for the input Steve. Keep 'em coming.

haha...see you're using that "quote" button too Colin.if my post was short then it's ok.but if my post was half a page then by doing that you just waste the other half page.and maybe all your reply was "you're right steve".if i link 10 pictures from else where to this forum and a guy reply to my post by click on that "quote" button and say "those are nice pics" what happen is you will see 10 duplicate pictures.if another guy doing that, you'll see 30 pics all together.see what i mean?
the best way to reply to someone's post is to use the "post reply" button locate at bottom left of the last post.call out his name (Steve...those are nice pics) or another way to reply directly to a quote is copy & paste the exact sentence of that quote then use [q u o t e]........[/q u o t e] example:
and your reply: thanks man.
that's why i suggest disable that feature if you can.if we can't do that then i hope everybody who read this understand and make our forum a better place.thanks
i hope all this make sense

if I may make a suggestion
IMHO I agree with the quoting takin up too much space , but this forum is huge and sometimes people will reply to a post that was posted hours ago and the thread has grown
how bout if u leave the quote button but not let users edit it , just have the first couple of words in the quote followed by dots (...)
something like this
if I were to post this in a thread and it took up to much space on the quote
the quote can look something like

75% does not know how to make it work
10% know but does not give a ding dong about making it work
10% also know and want to but too lazy to do the work
that leave 5 out of 100 guys who actualy do the work.
