Handheld logon problem
Handheld logon problem
Could you please fix this frustrating defect: when using a handheld (Tungsten T3), if one hits the forum button after logging in another logon is required. Logons are not saved from one page to another. This basically destroys the functionality of this website.
Sorry,
But there is no way we can support every browser under the sun, the software we are using is pretty damn compliant. Try to find an updated software set for your Tungsten, otherwise you might be outta luck.

Gee, silvrhand, all due respect, but that is a little harsh of a response. Especially since I and others have brought up this topic in the recent past as well (to which I never saw a response).

Blazer is the browser and it is "pretty damn compliant" as well. There are a few million handhelds running it and I have the latest version - updated 3 weeks ago.
If you believe the effort to find and address this issue so you can support mobile users is not worth your time, then that's fine. But he is not the only one with the problem.
I'm not one to complain but I wish you would consider this request and look into it and not dismiss the problem out of hand.

If I had a hsndheld then I could troubleshoot the login problem.
However I dont.
I have looked into it but its really hard to troubleshoot without being able to see the problem in person..
