You mean performance AND luxury plus looks. There are plenty of faster, cheaper cars out there.

Yep, such as Evo, SRT4 (not really sure about that one), STi etc.. but none of them are as good lookin as our G's.. so the performance is only good if ur some drag racer or somethin, otherwise I'd go with looks first out in the real world.

Cuz.. at the end of the day, you know which car is gonna bring you more ehhm.. looks if u know wat im mean

I am..

First, I want it black or white, with either brown or black leather respectively.
JLine 10RL2 in Gloss Black (polished lip), either 19'' or 20'', depends whichever is stock. With Toyo T1R.
Coilovers (HKS, KW, Cusco, or whoever else gets some good ones on the market first).
Intake (K&N, HKS, etc - something good and reliable and simple, quick to hit market).
Exhaust - most likely Nismo. If I had a current G it'd be HKS, but I think I want a perfect fit inside that bumper of the next Gen. And Nismo seems to come out quickly.
20% tint, 6000K HID, shaved trunk badges, and JDM reflectors assuming we get some amber in production.

What do you guys anticipate?
First thing I'm doing is a TT. From the sounds of this engine it's gonna be perfect for FI.

Indeed. This engine was MADE for FI.....

That said, I'll probably keep the car mostly stock since it's so darn hawt(no need to overdo it).

The new engine may have dual TB's, but the compression has been raised, meaning, worse for FI.

If it will have more power than the Sedan and weigh similarly- it is very possible to hit sub 5's 0-60.
Honestly, I don't see Infiniti adding 200 lbs to the car. I may be wrong but I hope not.

i went to an infiniti dealership today and found out the hp is about 325 and will weigh about the same amount. and price will not significantly jump. that is all the info that i know. and i was also told that only 5% will be MTs. but it will have the smart auto tranny that knows when to downshift so that will help. but it is still clutchless. but this is purely heresay of what my dealer said at west houston infiniti

heresay is right. No one knows what horsepower ratings or weight will be yet. As well the 5% figure for MT's is even lower than the current 6-7% estimate for sedans. The coupes will certainly have a higher ratio than the sedan as they now do, so it appears to me your dealer is ill informed.

^+1....
Overall I think 5% is low for the AT/MT ratio, although it may be correct for *some* markets.

60 to 120 - much more indicative of power
Because people like to race. You have a lot of chances to go from 0-60.

Plus even if you have a high top speed...you can't use it much anywhere but
the freeways or highways legally.....

0-60 is legal.....and you won't get pulled over by doing it on the freeway.

I think Infiniti has already change that perception..now it will have to improve upon it...like Lexus did with Mercedes.....

Only now Lexus has a better rep with reliability and the snob factor equal to Mercedes...

Which world do you live in? Even if you only redline one gear and a cop hears/sees you do it, even if your under the speed limit, you can get pulled over and you can get a ticket. Don't believe me? Line up with a cop at a traffic light on a 40 mph road and get to 40 as fast as you possibly can. When you see the cop turn his lights on, well, that's called getting a fast education. Some states will cite you for a "rabbit start" others are more aggressive and will cite you for Improper operation of a motor vehicle, or if your tires make even the slightest chirp, congradulations thats now careless, or worse, wreckless driving.

As far as if the 08 coupe does 0-60 in 2 seconds, who cares, how often do you honestly push your car that hard anyway? I'd much rather have a car geared for 60-120 than 0-60, passing people on the highway is alot more "real world" than how fast you can burn something off of a red light.
