I thought that rumor started because Infiniti reserved a patent on "G37" but wasn't sure that was a definite sign that the 2008 coupe has that engine. I really hope you are right !!

from speculation, i'm guessing the 08 coupe will be a couple .seconds behind the 07 z which houses the vq35hr

a lot of those who will win postings **** me off
