If I couldn't afford a G, I don't mind having that new Altima coupe in my garage.

The Accord Concept is... a Concept ; Do you really expect a Honda vehicle to look as good as it does in its concept form? I can assure you it will look completely different and lose its aggresive lines when it reaches production.

To date, the current coupe has no competition when it comes to style. Its lines are so unique.

I have high hopes for the 08 Coupe too.

PS. I dont think its such a great idea to compare a G35 to an Altima or an Accord.

.
hey skaterANDbasist check out the post above..the lines are SIMILAR to the coupe concept and altima coupe...if the lines of the altima coupe are entirely unimpressive so is the G concept. and for your talk about the 08 accord concept.. dont be so assured that the lines wont stick
"Accord Coupe Concept Preview – 2007 Detroit Auto Show: The Accord Coupe Concept revealed at the Detroit Auto Show represents the look and design of the new eight-generation Accord set to hit the streets in the next few months. Since its introduction in 1976, some 9.5 million units of Honda’s flagship have been sold, and it is frequently Honda’s best selling model year after year. With that kind of responsibility, a redesign is a tricky thing. For 2008, Honda appears to be taking a step away from its typically conservative styling with the Accord Coupe Concept. With a lot of eye-catching competition such as the Saturn Aura, it’s an important move for Honda to keep the Accord the most desired car in its class."

so yeah, if Honda does smartly stick with the design, which they most likely will, the G will begin to look less and less unique..esp if it is going to look like that sketch (which it wont, as it is a concept as you intelligently pointed out)

I guess Infiniti should be flattered, as imitation is flattery, or maybe the G was just before its time, as many car designs (mainly rooflines) are moving towards more flowing lines and away from boxy angles.

PS. there is no reason NOT to compare any car's design to another. Just because a car costs 30+ and not 25+, is no reason to not compare angular designs... i said nothing about performance or price

and before you go off trying to start an argument (such as the G is faster/as fast as the M3... ) below is a picture of the similarities I was referencing:

Why would they put on Brembo's if the 4-piston Caliper non-Brembo will be almost as good as the OEM Brembos? Really, for every day driving you don't really need to have Brembos. Plus, if you had a choice when buying the 08 coupe, would you want to pay $3K+ extra for Brembos? I'm sure adding it will make it more expensive the then the price comparison between cars (BMW, Honda coupe, etc.) will narrow. So, I doubt it too, unless it is an option, and an expensive one at that.

Thats why theres something called a "Sport Package"

Gives you the option of getting sport performance/looks

What "4 Piston Caliper Non-Brembo" are you talking about? Because I have never seen a manufacture create their own 4-piston brakes.

I really hope and expect the 08 Coupe 6MT (Sport) to get a set of Brembo's
