I really did not like the new sedan at first, then I saw one in jet black, with limo tint, sport and it looked hot.

I believe that these pics with the boring colors, no tint, dirty don't do it justice. I still think they could have done a better job on the coupe. But, it probably will look much better in person.

I totally agree with you. I however prefer the 2nd gen styling over the 1st gen styling but doesn't change the fact that your satement holds true .

Not necessarily. I first saw these pics away from the boards and my immediate thought was that they really f**ked up.

Most (including myself) thought the concept car was amazing and expected the G37 to look like that. This car looks very pedestrian and not at all aggressive, and that's before one makes the comparison. If it wasn't the new G, I wouldn't give it a second look -- unlike the concept and even G35, both of which command your attention.

I don't know how anyone could look at the concept and not lament what could have been.

I agree 100%. Infiniti has hit several home runs in a row, with the original G35 Coupe, the M45, and the new G35 Sedan. However, the new G37 Coupe is not a home run, IMO. For some reason, the new Sedan still looks like an Infiniti, but the G37 Coupe looks like a Lexus even though the front is almost the same as the G35 Sedan.
