Exactly my thoughts! The '08 coupe really looks like the Altima with the rounded lines. Doesn't look as aggressive as the concept or what I thought.

I hope my opinion isn't biased when I say, "I like the G35 better than the G37".

 

you're weird. Who would want 5 less horsepower and a less refined interior and exterior. Yes we all know of the similarities, but this is going a little to extreme don't you think?

 

Well, I already have a RWD 1st gen G35 Coupe, so I am not going to shell out an extra $20k for another car that's probably heavier and barely better looking. Might as well keep the current G and use the fund to buy another car - Altima Coupe.

 

That being said..... the new G still looks A WHOLE LOT BETTER than the new BMW 335i or even the M3.

 

Overall, I like it. I don't think anybody is ever happy with the stock version. I'm willing to bet within a few months, most of the haters will jump on the bandwagon & want one.

 

I don't think it looks half bad. Didn't the 6MT have more HP then the auto when it first came out? I'm thinking this to be the case too. Also, the car doesn't look half bad to me. Much better then any 3 series, that's for sure. I think the 07 G sedan looks way better then the 3 series as it is now. Anywho, I will have to wait to see this in person. Hell, most people here will mode the crap out of their G any ways so...might be a moot point on the exterior.

 

Like the '07 sedan, AT and MT get the same hp, 330, otherwise it would have been stated different. The video clip of the G37 is the AT and is rated at 330, so that are the same hp.

 

I must be the only one here who didn't like the concept, the pointy front made it look cheap. I really like how the G37 turned out. When I first saw it in picture, I thought it looked a little like the Porsche Cayman . I love the front but the back taillight is a little too small.

As for everyone owning a 1st gen and crying foul, I don't understand, the side profile looks so much like the 1st gen, it's like you're insulting your own car .

 

pics from side profile are fine. But once you see the front end and rear, forget it. Shame.

Which means it looks just like the first generation coupe. The side profiles are so similar (the G37s is actually sleeker and more raked). Those calling the G37 ugly, especially the side profile, are insulting the first generation car.

I like how they lowered the front wheel to make it look more aggressive, added a pretty color in the background, and lowered the car over the wheels:

The car is actually more level instead of angled down forward on the front...





But hey, ya gotta try to make it look good I guess....

 

the g37 will come with tampons in the front as well as the rear
