damn what a let down

 

im very surprised to see the news today on the new coupe. i thought it wont be revealed for another few more days or something. anyhow, glad to see it, but also lil dissapointed like many of u. im holding my judgement on it until we see the actual production car and all the formal specs from Nissan.

i have no doubt this is how the new coupe will look like, but guys, dont forget..the car they tested is more than likely the pre-production car so thats why there were no badge, the exhast pipes look old, and so on. im sure the overall car will be the same but lil things will be cleaned up and finalized before production.
jounalists always get to test drive the pre-production car..however, it may not be 100% of what it will be.. in this case..i say 99%..

now thats the dissapointing part of it all.. i dont like the new rear. the front is not bad although it's pretty much like the 07 Sedan with diff bumper. rear is ..really not feeling it. looks too soft and faminen like many of u mentioned. i like our first gen mondel better actually....more muscular.
no doubt the new G37 will be better in every way compare to our car, but from the looks of it.. im not sure if i'll be trading in my car anytime soon.
i think many will jump to an Audi A5 since thats the best looking coupe to come out in my mind since the first gen Gcoupe.
again, i'll have to hold my final judgement on G37 until i see the production version of it...but its not likely it will be any diff except for a finished rear (looks unfinihsed in a way.. no badge, ugly looking exhast, etc..).. and whats up with that ungly rear wing and tail? it looks just like the 07 sedan.. and i really dont like it. i love my big *** on my 05 coupe with the iron board wing!!

 

couple mroe things.. sorry, so wordy today, but i just cant stop thinking and making comments on the new G..haha.

i love the wheels, prob will love the new engine, the brakes look AMAZING! however, the front bumper looks so much like my friend's RSX.. the rear looks kinda like the bmw 6-series (ugly)..
the overall shape is very much like the current car, but got softer.. for whatever reason, which most of us dont like.
looking from the side, the rear looks kinda Acura RL/Poniac/Altima coupe.. ish!! anyone see that? SADDDD... nothing is as unique and beautiful as the first gen G. i wish they make the G37 more like the concept.

who knows, i might love the car when i see it in person..altho i really doubt i will except for that beautiful new engine..

 

That profile (roof-line and belt-line) is so much better than the Coupe Concept or the first generation coupe.

I dunno guys, from all the pics I've seen, the front end looks pretty good at best...and the Rear well...its pretty fugly

^ hot! I dont see how people are saying the new G doesnt look aggressive enough.

 

maybe someone should contact infiniti and let them know about all the negative posts regarding the new styling from current and future G owners out there, and maybe they can still make the necessary changes before it gets released. tell them they can come and read all the posts on G35driver.com.

the front end looks like a freakin bubble and I'm not going to bother commenting about the rear. I'm disappointed. 3 series coupe wins this one IMHO.
