Amen
You know what...Edmonds Pics show a different side...Car looks great. Front does indeed look agressive. That's why I say see it in person. Does anyone else see a little Lexus SC430 older version in the body. I swear....I can.

Big brakes, better interior, drop it add some 20's and you have yourself another drop dead gorgeous coupe. The front look great, I think the rear looks like the same old 2004 I had. Other than that NICE. I'm still going to NY to take a peek for myself. Mark my word...it'll grow on you.
Cars almost always look better in person, and I think the G37 will be a prime example. And seriously, the performance cannot be ignored. Edmunds saying it outhandles a 335i? For likely almost 10k less, that's one hell of an achievement.
wasn't it the same way when sedan was to be released. Early pics weren't that impressive at all, but then when more and more production pics started releasing and when ppl saw it in person... it was a whole diff story. It turned out well.... we'll hafta wait and see till NYIAS for a up close and personal look
"Our initial impressions of the new exterior design were mixed - we were afraid that the G37 looked watered-down when compared to the old G35's aggressive stance. But, we changed our minds when we saw the two G Coupes next to each other in person. The new car's front end, which looks soft and Lexus-like in pictures, looks muscular and tough in person."

it still says it's gonna be released in august? is this true? imm wondering whether to wait .. or buy another car...
"G37 coupes will hit dealers on August 21 of this year. Infiniti PR folks were characteristically tight-lipped about pricing, which won't be announced until just before the on-sale date."

Look Familiar anyone

Some people don't know what the G35's are little alone now they will surely mistake G37 for the altima. lol Its like Chevy making a car 20g cheaper then the Z06 and looks like the Z06 C6 but a tad smaller. Nissan/infiniti is shooting themselves in the foot with this one. And I work for them

I'm diggin' the G37. While everyone else is saying otherwise, I really don't think it's too far off from the concept. I find the front to be quite aggressive with staunchy shoulders and cat-like eyes for headlights. And the wheelbase is loooooong! The only qualm I have is with the rear, I dunno, something doesn't look right and I don't care for the built-in lip. The interior is a HUGE improvement. The 1st generation interiors were absolute sh*t. Felt cheap by luxury standards, vents always rattled, and for me personally, I cannot tolerate the seats in the coupe anymore. The G37 interior is identical to the 07 sedan, seats are very comfy, for those who haven't checked out the sedan, you can adjust the side bolsters to either squeeze you in tight for autoX/track or relax during the commute home. Oh and the coolest part of all! A push start button! Bad to da a$$!
Impressive is the engine output and brake system. But weighing in at almost 3700lb? Dang that's heavy. I'm concerned about the handling and potential understeer.
Those of you that commented on the Altima coupe similarity I have to agree with you. There are some major elements there but in a more refined version. But then again, Nissan and Infiniti are the same and they are going to share some design concepts! All in all, don't start dissin' til you see it in person and test drive it. Pictures can sometimes be misleading and skew perception.
