The front is the worst part of the new G. The front of the car from the side is too rounded off.

My current CB G looks hotter than ever now. LOL!

Kind of like the movie 300: Tons of hype and when you see it it's great, but it leaves you wanting more.

I'm actually pretty disappointed with the new coupe. Why didn't infiniti listen to the consumers and make it look like the concept? Was that too much to ask for? Personally I'll skip the G37 and keep what I've got.

Yuk. Too soft of a design. Maybe performance will be great, but the outside reminds me of an Altima or Maxima. I'll stick w/ my '05.

Very bad move for Infiniti, but good news for 1st Gen owners... With the looks of the 08 I don't think resale on the 1st Gen will be affected too much.

Infiniti lost my business. Glad I didn't go ahead and put a deposit down.

I can hear my current G laughing out there while parked in my garage as I type this!

Pretty ridiculous considering how much it looks like the first gen except for the very front.

Hmmm...could this be a marketing move to steer more of the sports-minded G owners to the GT-R?

I don't know about you, but I don't have the scratch to purchase the GT-R. If that was their idea they aren't hooking me

Not with the price difference. The GT-R is expected to be released at about $70k.

IMO, Infiniti is fvcking themselves if this is really the 08. The G Coupe has been Infiniti's best seller for a few years and now the screw it up like this.

The designers had it dead on with concept, so my question is who fcked this one up?

My plan is to buy a used garage queen GT-R a few years after it is released.
