I agree with the disappointed crowd. I don't like the bubble on the front end and the creases in the hood (looks a little like the tiberon). I loved the low slung profile of the concept. the weight bothers me also.

on the flip side, they did say it outperformed the BMW. a tighter suspension, bigger breaks. I'm probably still going to buy.

From that video it looks like the G37 will perform like a champ, can't wait to get one! The 55 hp increase is awesome!!

Quote: This is kind of like those internet relationship, first they send you a hot picture of herself (G35 concept), then when you meet her in real life; its like you got sacked in the dongers (G37 coupe)

...

Then again I will still have to wait until i see one in person.
LMAO! That's hilarious....sacked in the dongers.

Not liking the overly rounded attributes... to "dolphin" like... needs a little sharpness to the design. Heck, I think I like the sedan better... hello, G37 sedan.

And yes, now that we know sedan weights, the coupe should be right in line... that weight figure in Edmunds article has to be way off.

nissan taking shortcuts. no touchscreen navigation mentions? Bubbly design, no doubt, weak torque numbers for a much larger powerplant.

There will be a touchscreen navi. I read that, but I can't remember where.

I hate for my first post to be negative but....

I am planning to buy a new car later this year and have been lurking here for awhile. Like everyone I was anxiously awaiting the first images of the new G coupe as it was one of the cars that I was considering. Unfortunately, I too am disappointed with the new look. It looks nothing like the concept. This may make some angry but the new Altima coupe is going to look almost identical to the G37 (the front end very much so). The Altima coupe will make 270 hp and cost 10 grand less. I know, the Altima is FWD and will have Nissan badges, but hey de-badge that sucker and.....

Now...flame on.

Ok you dorky Infiniti engineers.Where's the TT option??

Stop focusing on trying to match or better BMW.Overall, and especially looks you did that in 2003.

Lexus should be the next victim, and they aren't even trembling.
