i finally figured out what i didn't like about this new coupe. The roofline looks to symmetrical (front to rear ). if you look at the gen 1 g35 coupes it looks like its leaning forward more and then to slowly tapers down. You could say if you stood the gen 1 g35 on the front bumper it looks like the shape of a girls chest.

Quote: Ideas??
Change wheel's-New front end with spoiler. [Like the Concept version]. Completely change the back [it is to round/short and stubby ] Keep fat and angular with a full size rear spoiler like the 05. Change hood lines. [ Make it more angular ] Center wedge shape.

However if they do anything I WOULD AT LEAST change the front bumper & redesign the rear end completely

Personally, nothing. Especially after the Stillen pictures.
Weight = due to more safety compenents in the doors (according to sedan owners) which may come in handy if God forbid. So I'm grateful Infiniti has an eye on safety.

People compare the sport bumper to the M3, contured hood with the lexus sc430, and brake duct vents with a benz. It's like Infiniti took the best of all luxury cars and put it in their new design. Why do people complain about this? and if you dont like the smile get a non sport bumper.

Very nice post, I agree with all that you said. I would not change anything either.

I would change the amber reflector in the headlight housing, it looks too "Nissan-ish". The 06-07 Z looks very nice with those 4 LED's in the headlight. I think it wouldve been more classy if they had integrated a vertical amber LED clearance strip down the sides of headlight. For some reason, I think they will incoporate the into the 09-10' model . I guarantee everyone will be swapping out their headlights just like people did for 03-05 to 06'ers. Other than that, the car looks great.

i picked the headlights/taillights all though i'd want more angular lines like the concept, NOT like the current.
