wood and sport = NOT AN OPTION

B&I will have a replacement wood kit for the coupe out in less than a month -- that was how it worked w/ the sedan.

if you guys haven't driven the new '07 sedan you do feel a huge difference in handling w/ the 36% stiffer chassis and double wishbone suspension up front.... the car does grab the road better and it's not as stiff. the only complaint i have is the steering is a little tighter but something you can get used to.

I had an 04 and went to an 06 with the rear active steer, and I couldn't tell much of a difference. Hopefully the 6MT Sport with premium and rear spoiler won't go much over $37k, and with my VPP discount from work I want to keep my lease payemnts under $450/mo.

Then again, of course when the 09 comes out with a fixed front/rear end, new wheels, better brakes, and more HP i will be pissed just like in '05.

Leaning toward it... depends upon how it looks in person to me.

Sport 5AT with Premium Package and studio on wheels (in whatever packag that will come in)
Exterior- Black
Interior- Undecided... I like the contrast of a light interior vs dark exterior. But I also like black on black . I have had both in my previous cars and I like them all equally.

^ No.

If they made a 370Z this year, I would get it. The 07 Z looks nice. But I dont want to get a 350Z with the old motor this summer, only to be left in the dust by an 08.
Hmmm.

tight steering is a good thing for me...I love response.

You work for Infiniti - any guesses on how well buyers will be able to negotiate above invoice? If it helps at all, I'm military.

Fully loaded 6mt sport including 4ws. I want every option. IP with wheat interior and washi trim. I'm guessing around 40k or so. My deposit goes down after I see it in NY. Hopefully, I can sit in it.

As far as mods. I'm gonna wait to see what comes out, and how it is stock. I know i'll want more power, so engine upgrades are a givin at some point. Prob TT in a year or so, i'm not gonna be the first though. I'm no ginnie pig.

we have a lot of employees and the owner has military background so we do give extra incentives to them. it's obvious the first cars will be either above sticker or near sticker but all the clientele i have on these boards know i take care of them.

All I know for sure is that I'll take an AT and in Red. I'm hoping the red will be lighter then the actual one but I doubt it. Will strongly consider the Journey Sport package and probably without spoiler (I hope we will have this option in Canada)

Talking

Just look at my avatar

IP/Graphite
Sport
Bose System
maybe Nav

Mods:
hopefully the springs from my 04' IP/Graphate will fit
Rims will be transfered over
and if the Bose system is anything like the 04' Bose sytem then my Infiniti Kappas will be making the jump as well as my amp

I believe that a lot of us are reserving our final judgement until we see a real G37 in person sometime in August. Actually I'm guardely optimistic. The G37 will no doubt be faster, stop in a shorter distance, outhandle, and have a better interior than the G35. More than likely my exterior preference will be with the G35, but there may be enough improvement in the other areas to offset the one down side.

one persons "downside" is another persons improvement. i owned an 04 coupe.. later sold to buy a new home. the coupe drove and looked great and would still own if not for the new house payment. With that being said.. i would be trading my old g in for the new one if i still had it.

When i look at the g37 i dont see the changes infiniti made to the g35. i see an entirely new vehicle that appeals to me even more than the first one. Both G's are great looking vehicles.

So how many new 08 coupes are already on dep?

As for my next ride, Red, 6MT, possibly Nav, not sure on the AWS package yet, and I think I will add the Quad turbo/twin supercharger 600 HP option, what the heck, why not?
