Rear 'Chop -- just for fun
Rear 'Chop -- just for fun
I seem to have the biggest issue with the rear of the car. So, in order to avoid work, I threw together a little chop of how it could have been a little different:

Other edits (besides the redone rear area), include an elongated hood/front fender (longer hoods are always better IMHO), moved door handle (above "shoulder" line), and a sharper shoulder line.
Here is the original for comparison:

TO each it's own. I think the chop looks mor esedanish. The rear tails on a sporty car IMHO should be closer to the bumper. The less space between the bumper and the tails the sportier (potentially) it looks to me.

Also, the car looks more sedan-ish because those are modified sedan tail lights. I like them because they have more dimension and curves, to go with the rest of the car. Heck, if they look good -- who cares if it is more "sedan-ish"?
I agree though, that it still doesn't knock my socks off. I just wanted to see what it would look like with a version of the sedan lights, and I think it is an improvement personally (but, all design is personal opinion anyway--not everyone will like it, no matter what).

I think the rest of the car is beautiful. I even like the front end, more so that the current gen.
