New front bumper

Anyone predicting a new front bumper making it into early production? I'll go out on a limb here and suggest there will be one either for initial production or at least before year 2.

I think it will be the same when it's launched, but there might be a slight revision in 09.

G37 Lips............

If I was buying a new G37 it wouldn't leave the lot without a new frontend.
Probably a GReddy because they make good stuff and their designs are
miles ahead of people like Veilside!

That's already been confirmed. We just haven't seen the non-sport yet.

can anyone pull together pics of a g sedan sport/non sport front end? i'm told the 07's change the front end as well.. curious if the diff. front ends are drastic or minimal.. that may give a clue as to what's diff on the new coupe

If the non sport bumper comes out to be a better design for the coupe, I hope the dealers would allow a swap even if you ordered the sport package.

Nice job.. thanks. Looks to me like infiniti may have an answer for those of you who dont like the current front end.. though it prob. means not getting sport.. which i dont expect will sit well with you.

I like the "lexus" looks of the new g. the rounded edges of that front end very much appeal to me. For many of you it's the very thing you dislike about the car. When i saw the car in NY my initial reaction was that it looks way more expensive than what its going to cost. Classy is another word i said to myself. I can't say that about the g35c. Its sporty with sexy lines.. but i dont see classy anywhere. That's not a digg on the g35.. remember.. i bought one and loved it.

Infiniti may well be targeting a diff type of buyer. The first g coupe may have been an experiment/gamble to get them out of the rut they were in. I would have never considered an infiniti until i saw that G in 2003. If in fact they are going after the bmw/lexus crowd I think it'll be good for business.. it just might appeal to that "older" 30something crowd which i'm in. I dont' see any car in the g35cs price range being offered by bmw, lexus or merc. that compares to the g35.. it truly is a one off type of design in it's class. I think the g37 will appeal to a broader market because it's trying to beat them at their own game. The more comparisons the media makes about the g37 and the three series.. but for less. can only be good for business.

In the end as an average joe who loves the old g35 design.. the new look is very appealing to me... i only want it to look great, drive great and make me feel younger than i am. if 40k gives me that.. then i'll say it's money well spent.

Like I've said before- the journey bumper onthe sedan looks sportier than the sport bumper IMO. I always do a double take when I see a non sport Sedan- initially thinking that it is a Sport.

I think the new sport bumper is the best change they made to the car. Better lines, more aggressive, more unique, what's not to like about it?
