Kinda quiet in G37 coupe section

I remember ~days leading up to leaked info~ there was a flurry of posts
speculating this and speculating that.

Now after all the smoke and mirrors are removed, it seems (to me) the lack
of intrest is evident as well as the lack of additional knowledge.

Is this normal... or is this because of the flurry of dislikes on the new body style ?

LMAO! No joke.

There will be more activity once August rolls around, the unveilings happen at dealerships, people take test drives, and finally, people begin purchasing.

Hmm I hope August isnt a firm date... and I suspect they will have a show coupe at most dealers before August. If Aug is the suspected release date I think my itch may get the better of me.

I dont know guys its just tough knowing the 1st Gen G came out and set the bar higher for everything... now its not setting much just barely meeting the opposition. Please dont flame me, im just stating my opinion and was hyped up about the new G and now imo its just even with the competition or so.

It will probably be out by late July. The sedan was officially due in November and it was out by October. So I expect the new coupe to start showing up in late July!!

Infiniti not re-inventing the wheel every time a new model comes out is probably a good thing. Look at BMW's 3-series. I know that's been said many times but it seems to work. Plus, Infiniti can not command prices that are BMWish yet. So coming at or just beating the competition while having great reliability is mission accomplished. Plus, the new G37 may handle better than the new 335i which is no small feat! The only thing Infiniti is lacking is prestige which plays a huge role.

We still don't know much about the vehicle. We haven't test driven or has even gotten into one and no one has purchased one yet. That is probably your simplist explanation.

There isn't much more to say until we can see, touch and taste the thing. I thought May was the release date. August screws me up. My current lease is up in July. Well, I guess I can do without a G for a month or 2. I can drive the SC300 and get to know her all over again.

Update from dealer...

apparently and unlike the G35 sedan rollout. they will be able to order car immediately in june or july estimated delivery time is 4 to 8 weeks from order.

so the bottom line according to sales rep is Aug to sept . IMO Sept.

My lease is up in July as well I don't know who your lease is through mine is with INF but my sales guy said that Infiniti well let you extend your lease month to month until your new car arrives and of course give you additional miles as well so that is what I am going to do.
