Thumbs down Pre-NYIAS Spy Pics have Hindered the G37

I just can't stand but notice, how much the G37 has grown on me.

My first impressions of the G37 were just as anyone else's. It's awful!

But after seeing so many new pictures, more ideal ones, it has really grown on me.

Although I still would not trade in my 06 for the 08, it's still a very nice ride.

The biggest mistake Infiniti has ever made has just happened; they let someone else introduce the G37 for them. Those first impression pictures were just awful, and as we all know, first impressions are the most important ones.

Just look at how a simple bumper change's the whole vehicle! I still prefer the lines of the 06, but my first impressions have definately changed.

Bad move by Infiniti. Hopefully, after release, the "G" regains its reputation, especially among enthusiasts.

Forgot the foggs

If there is a market for it, the aftermarket peeps will be on it like white on rice.

Nice rendition.

Damn, it seems like everyone is missing my point!

There's already a thread about this photoshopped bumper.

LOL... you had to know *that* would happen.

I don't think it would really have changed reactions too much....
but it definitely stole the moment away from the intro.

haha yeah maybe the image definately stole the attention away from my topic

To be honest, the newer pictures that surfaced, both the adverticing & personal pics from the show, are 10x better than the first pictures that surfaced.

It definately stole the moment away from the intro.

Anyhow, back to the center of attention: the PS bumper

Good point. While I don't think that people's impressions would of changed drastically, I do think that they would of changed somewhat. It's kind of a shame that Infiniti kept it so tight lipped for all that time only to have a magazine leak the photos (and sh!tty photos at that) early. I think it would of been much better for Infiniti if everyone saw it for the first time at the NYIAS like planned.

still a bit too pointy for my taste. The bumper looks funny with a flat roundish grill. I think smoothing out the crease a little more would look even better.
